in the book are all by Jack Kerouac. Kerouac called his haiku efforts "pops" and they did not always
follow strict haiku form. I intended to choose poems concerned with travelling but discovered,
after I had chosen them, that all contained imagery of the moon. Hence the title "Moon Pops."
